Israel: Colonel Shloime Dahan Remains Comatose & Heading for Rehab


A follow-up on the IDF’s former Southern Battalion Commander Colonel Shloime Dahan reveals that the senior officer is heading for therapy.

YWN reported [HERE] on July 24th that the senior officer’s vehicle was involved in an accident. The subsequent investigation revealed that Dahan’s driver fell asleep responding to a security incident. The colonel sustained a serious head injury.

On Monday, still comatose, Dahan was moved from an intensive care unit of Soroka Medical Center to Beit Levenstein Rehabilitation Center, where he will remain in an intensive care unit too.

His care will be supervised by Dr. Bentzi Kremchensky, a specialist in head injury patients in a comatose state. Among his recent patients was Nobel Prize laureate Prof. Avizar Ravitsky, who was comatose as a result of being hit by a vehicle, making a miraculously recovery.
