Horrifying: 2 Israeli Women Attacked With Machetes In Kenya

Two Israeli women were attacked and robbed in Kenya by machete-bearing thugs on Motzei Shabbos.

The violent incident occurred when the two were returning to their hotel in the Watamu area in the south of the country.

Both women were injured and one’s finger was almost cut off entirely. They were rushed to a local hospital to receive medical treatment.

Israel’s Consul to Kenya Maayan Almagor was informed about the incident and has been in contact with the victims and their relatives in Israel, to whom she offered to assist with expedited visas to enter Kenya to be with their loved ones.

  1. I had to be n Kenya last year for a business trip. Let me tell you, the local Police, most of them are corrupt.
It’s like NYC, when you call them, they do not come right away.
    Kenya is a real jungle.
    Friendly tip:
If you need to travel to Kenya for a business trip, hire a security guard.
The truth is that there is not a lot of business opportunities in Kenya, but once in a while something might pop up for you.

  2. Hashem should send a real quick
רפואה שלמה בתוך שאר חולי עם ישראל
    to both ladies.
Hashem should help her and she should be Zocheh that the doctors will be successful in reattaching her finger.
כתיבה וחתימה טובה לכולם לכל עם ישראל

  3. Yidishe Mame, Don’t you get it? Hashem will send Mashiach WHEN KLAL YISRAEL DESERVES IT!! You want Mashiach to come so there should not be anymore tragedies? Read the Rambam! You have it backwards! “According to Rambam (Hil. Taanis 1:1-3), it is a positive commandment of the Torah for every individual to cry out and search his ways at a time of national calamity, for G-d visits calamities upon Israel to inspire each Jew to repent for his misdeeds. If someone fails to recognize that tragedies occur through an act of G-d rather [than] through happenstance, he is considered cruel, because he will not be motivated to improve his behavior. As a result, G-d will beset Israel with more troubles, until all are motivated to change their ways.” You want Mashiach now? Then speak up when you see cruelty that is against the Torah especially when it’s by “frum” Jews. I have seen tzar caused to widows by so-called rabbis and people garbed like hasidim. I have witnessed a sukkah dealer move a boundary to help his client steal land. You want Mashiach? Be careful, for if Hashem has to send Mashiach in order to administer justice you may not like it.
