*An Israeli truck driver was lightly injured after being abducted by Arab carjackers and dumped near Jaba Jct.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*33 people were killed on the nation’s roadways in July, bringing the death toll since January 1, 2008 to 256.

*Several tens of right-wingers tried entering the Shuafat refugee camp in the Jerusalem district. 11 people were detained for questioning.

*British diplomatic officials report they were attacked by a small number of Jews while visiting Chevron on Thursday. They were traveling in an armored car. No injuries were reported.

*15 disabled protestors charged security personnel as they tried forcing their way into the Finance Ministry. A number of security personnel sustained very light injuries. Two protestors were detained for questioning.
