SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Today, Thursday, is day 51 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Today is Gilad Shalit’s 775th day in Hamas captivity.

*One passenger was lightly injured in a Wednesday late-night rock-throwing attack against a bus traveling near Beit Omar north of Chevron.

*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations on Wednesday night arrested 12 suspects. Arrests were made in Ramallah, Bet Lechem, Chevron and Shechem. The suspects were turned over to the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) for interrogation.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Hizbullah leader Nasrallah quoted by a representative in Iran saying for the “first time since its establishment, the Israeli enemy faces an existential crisis.

*Israel to release 150 terrorists in yet another ‘good-will’ gesture to the PA (Palestinian Authority).

*The military prosecutor on Thursday is expected to file charges against Lt.-Colonel Omri Bruberg and St.-Sgt. L. for their involvement in firing a rubber bullet against at a bound Arab prisoner in Na’alin.

*Israel continues to threaten Hizbullah – calling for an end to weapons smuggling.
