MK (National Union) Uri Ariel and other supporters have turned to Jerusalem Police Chief Ilan Franco to permit tefillos in Kever Rachel on Tisha B’Av. A protest was held outside the holy site on Monday against the restrictions imposed by police, limiting access to mispalalim at the kever. A number of people taking part in the protest were detained by police.
In his letter to the police commander, Ariel points out that especially today, when so many are questioning our legitimate right to the land, there is a unique message and significance to davening at Kever Rachel and the meaning of davening for the sons to return to their borders.

ywn- could you please give us more information. Isn’t kever Rachel opened everyday? Was there unlawful conduct? Who were the people who were protesting?
Of all the people; who would think an individual like this would suggest something that would be al pi halacha? Moshiach is on his way!!!
flatbush bubby, I am surprised at you. Uri Ariel has a Jewish heart and love for the land.
