A 44-year-old Chareidi woman was crushed to death on Sunday morning in a parking lot in Ashdod.
According to passersby, the woman got out of her car and for unknown reasons, her car continued to move downward and crushed her against the wall of the parking lot.
Firefighters were called to the scene and immediately began a rescue operation as the woman’s condition was critical. They successfully extricated her from the scene and transferred her to paramedics but unfortunately, they were forced to declare her death at the scene.
She was later identified as Rebbetzin Galit Dabush, a’h, a mother of 12 children and the wife of HaRav Amir Dabush, a maggid shiur. She was known as a woman of tzidkus and a ba’alas chessed.
Daniel Bokovza, head of the Ashdod Hatzalah branch, said: “When we arrived at the scene, we encountered a pedestrian who was suffering from multiple systemic injuries and was unconscious. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident due to the nature of the severe injuries she suffered.”
Israel Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
