A rocket was launched into southern Israel from the Gaza Strip on Motzei Shabbos.
The rocket exploded in an open area near the border and b’chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries or casualties.
The rocket launch follows threats of escalation by Gaza terror groups in the wake of an IDF operation in Jenin on Thursday in which four terrorists were killed.
