Anti-judicial reform protesters plan to hold a protest near the home of Finance Committee chairman Moshe Gafni in Bnei Brak on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
It is the first anti-reform protest that will target a Chareidi figure.
The police are preparing for the possibility that clashes could develop between city residents and protesters. A large number of police forces will be deployed to the area ahead of the protest.
The organizers of the protest claim that the demonstration is the “opening shot for a large-scale move against the involvement of the Chareidi Knesset members in advancing the laws, led by Gafni, who recently called to ‘take down the Supreme Court’ and advance the legislation of the Override Clause.”
