Yaya Fink, a left-wing activist who raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for residents of Huwara, has apologized to the Yaniv family.
After enraged Jews rioted in the town and set properties on fire following the murder of the Yaniv brothers, Fink launched a crowdfunding campaign for the residents of the town whose properties were damaged.
Esty Yaniv, the mother of the kedoshim Hillel and Yigal, h’yd, expressed outrage at the campaign, calling it a “dark campaign for those who distributed pastries to celebrate the murder of my sons.”
On Friday, Fink wrote: “Before Shabbat, I want to apologize to the Yaniv family. The fact that I caused you grief because of the crowdfunding campaign I organized for the innocent saddens me.
“I would still do the campaign. I believe that דרכנו דרכי נועם ונתיבותינו שלום but it would have been more correct to start it at a later date. I assume that my apology won’t be accepted but I wanted to apologize anyway.”

If Yaya Fink really wants to do teshuvah, then he should spend the rest of his life raising money for Jewish victims of terrorism and anti-Semitism.

Apologizing for causing someone grief isn’t an apology. There is no admission of wrongdoing. You are basically saying I wish I could have done what I did without you feeling bad about it. Weasel words.

The apology was absolutely required but the pasuk that he misquoted is proof that his motivation is not honest to begin with. In fact his whole account borders on רשעות. Why he didn’t begin a crowd fund campaign for the Paley or Yaniv families how’s how warped his mind and actions are. Shame on him.
That’s not an apology, that’s twisting the knife , saying I would do it again and calling the people who killed two Jewish boys “innocent” is shameful. THEN apologizing for causing grief with his savior-of-the-innocent act- is an oxymoron. This “woke” society is going to fall on their own sword. If you read, a 5 yr old was deemed unable to understand the consequences of his actions when he shot his teacher with a gun. BUT the woke say that 5 year olds can choose their gender including taking body and health altering medications. Hashem Yerachem .
The timing is not the issue. The campaign was evil, and would have been evil no matter when it was held, because the beneficiaries were NOT innocent.

Please join me in wishing Yaya Fink a refuah sheleima from his illness. Fink raises money for people that celebrated the murder of innocent Jews, perpetrated by one of Huwara’s residents, and Fink raises money for the destruction of the murderer’s neighbors’ property at the hands of Jews? Finks shows no rachmanut for the survivors of the murdered brothers. Fink is clearly a disturbed, sad little man, with low emotional intelligence.
