Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu chided the United Nations Security Council for its “one-sided” statement on Monday denouncing Israeli settlement activity and condemned the United States for supporting it.

“The UN Security Council has issued a one-sided statement which denies the rights of Jews to live in our historic homeland, fails to mention the Palestinian terror attacks in Jerusalem in which 10 Israeli civilians were murdered, ignores the Palestinian Authority’s grotesque pay-for-slay policy which subsidizes the murder of Jews and belittles the evil of antisemitism, which has resulted in the slaughter of millions,” a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said.

“The statement should never have been made and the United States should never have joined it.”

The US supported a statement by the UN Security Council on Monday condemning Israeli settlement activities that “dangerously impel the viability of the two-state solution based on the 1967 lines.”

  1. Mr Netanyahu,
Jews have every right to live in Eretz Yisrael including the West Bank and Gaza and other areas as well.
My government has no right to deny such an obvious fact. Do not trust the present executive branch of the US or any other so called representative(s) of our offices—especially the US State Department.

If my memory serves me correctly, our state dept obfuscated every plea or heart felt request from Jewish organizations to impede, stop or in any possible way the on-going destruction of Jewish man, women and children by the Nazis despite overwhelming evidence of the holocaust.

I suspect the US State Dept has changed for the worst as far as Israel is concerned.

A personal note, I like to add: several years ago, a 8 month pregnant Jewish women was driving her automobile with 4 little girls in the back seat. She slowed the car to negotiate a sharp turn in the road—two Arab terrorists with AK-47s open fire, mortally wounded the woman. As the car careened off the road, the Arabs calmly walked over to the car and in point blank range killed 4 little girls ages 5 thru 14.

NO member of our government expressed outrage or any such criticism of this heinous act. This act and others like it are on-going as I write this msg. No criticism is ever made on rockets fire at Israeli citizens from Gaza to Jewish communities in Israel—tx to some anti missile systems by Israel losses, have—so far been LIGHT.

Israel and America have been allies for some time and criticisms over time exist but for one country America to infringe on the right of Israel to determine their borders and protect its people is construed as unjust, illegal and down right arrogant on America.

    A goy,
    Gerry Mullen
PS: Suggest all Jews do More Talmud T_rah, More Davvening and More Chesed—-MTT, MD and MC !!!

One day the hand of the Almighty will be raised against all who have wrecked havoc on Yisrael and its people—I hope America will not be found too guilty !!!

  2. CA: Right. I suspect that w/o this language (which absurdly conflates illegal settlements with terrorist murders) the Security Council would have adopted an even more one-sided resolution condemning Israel w/o even mentioning the terrorists.

  3. BITE THE HAND THAT HARMS……feeding tubes work…..we are comforted by more colonial moves and countries ,town, cities and who knows outside of America……Torah , it is only about this….Hashem has saved this through countless travels, America no longer is a necessary host with 75 years of an established Jewish State…..think about it…217 years till 6000….more important than Lapid
