The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court has issued an order banning three Jews from Yesha for a period of 90 days.
The three, Efrion Oppenheimer, Arieh Davis and Alexander Ostrovsky were expelled from Yehuda and Shomron until Oct. 10, 2008, IsraelJustice.com reports. A third-party personal bond of NIS 10,000 was also required by Justice Ilta Siskind.
The three, and at least one minor, are suspected of slashing tractor tires, damaging water lines and engaging in acts of vandalism as they hiked in the area of Maale Michmas located in the Benjamin Regional Council of Shomron during a hike. The report states there were ten in the group of hikers.
Attorney Reuven Hamburger however points out the suspects were not positively identified by the plaintiffs in the case. Police however are seeking to persuade the court to make an example of the three to deter other Jews from carrying out such attacks.
