A terrorist planning to imminently carry out a major terror attack inside Israel was arrested on Thursday morning in Jenin.

Security forces operated covertly and the arrest was carried out quietly by undercover Border Police officers without the opening of gunfire.

B’Chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries to Israeli security forces.

The arrest was carried out at the completion of focused intelligence and operational efforts by the Shin Bet, the IDF, and the Border Police

Following the arrest, the terrorist was transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.
