Israeli soldiers thwarted an attempted stabbing attack in the Shomron on Wednesday shortly before noon.
A Palestinian armed with a knife approached an army position on Route 55, just outside the Israeli town of Kedumim, and attempted to stab a soldier.
The Golani soldiers shot and neutralized the terrorist.
B’Chasdei Hashem, no Israeli security forces were injured in the attack.
“An armed assailant attempted to carry out a stabbing attack on Route 55 adjacent to the town of Kedumim,” an IDF spokesperson said. “The assailant, armed with a knife, arrived at an IDF military post and attempted to stab an IDF soldier at the scene. The assailant was neutralized by the soldiers in the area. No IDF injuries were reported.”
