Opposition leader Yair Lapid hasn’t stopped inciting against the new government of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu since its formation, making no differentiation between Israel and Western media outlets, and not shying away from exaggerated statements of “the end of democracy” and a “government of racists.”
On Tuesday, Walla News reported that Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen (NV), who is currently leading a delegation of US senators on a visit to Israel, requested not to meet National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich.
Lapid gleefully linked to the article in a Twitter post, stating: “The time has come to recognize the facts: with a government of racists and extremists, the US is no longer Israel’s closest ally.”

Kol B’Ramah reporter Yisrael Cohen wrote in response to Lapid’s tweet: “To see the glee of Lapid from every anti-Israel decision and to understand that the man is simply not fit to be a leader in the state of Israel. His activities and that of the left to condemn and delegitimize Israel prove that Lapid opposes the state and not the coalition.”

Yair Lapid is a worthless piece of garbage that has only caused problems here in Israel and never had any positive contributions to the state of Israel.
I suspect the majority of those strongly opposed to the judicial reforms and some of the other policies of this new government are really “gleeful’ to be out demonstrating but hopefully they will use every non-violent means available to demonstrate and bring pressure on MKs to either vote against or abstain from these measures.
