A Palestinian terrorist on Tuesday opened fire at IDF forces at the Halhul intersection near Chevron.
The soldiers returned fire and neutralized the terrorist, who was later identified as Hamdi Abu Daih, an officer in the Palestinian police with the rank of sub-lieutenant. He had fired at the soldiers with a Carlo-type submachine gun.
B’Chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries among Israeli security forces.

The IDF is investigating whether Abu Daih is the same terrorist who shot at a bus in the same area two days ago.
An IDF spokesperson said: “A report was received a short time ago about a shooting at IDF forces that were engaged in operational activity near the town of Halhul in the Etzion Brigade area. The terrorist fired at the forces who responded with fire and neutralized him. There are no casualties to our forces.”
Shortly before the attempted attack at Halhul, a bus driver reported that his bus had come under fire north of Etniel in Har Chevron.

If anybody is paying attention, Israel has begun to fight back. The High Court had restrained them from getting rid of terrorist but now the gloves are off.
It seems like every time public confidence in the regime dwindles a bunch of guns end up in the hands of some Arabs, and before you know it the public returns to count on the regime to keep them safe from the terrorists.
Was the terrorist killed, or was his pH lowered to 7.0?
Where is the accountability?! Did the IDF call unelected democrats Ned Price and Jake Sullivan first, before murdering this Palestinian freedom fighter?!
