Neturei Karta Member Released Under Restrictive Conditions

The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court on Sunday released the Neturei Karta member who was arrested by the police on Thursday following his visit to the family home of a terrorist in Jenin last Monday.

He was released under restrictive conditions, including a restraining order from Areas A in Yehudah and Shomron for 180 days, a ban on contacting others involved in the case for 60 days, payment of NIS 5,000 in bail, and a NIS 1,000 cash deposit.

The suspect’s lawyer said at the hearing: “I have a problem with orders that have no validity. The court does not have authority over Areas A. We have no objections to the conditions. The respondent agrees to meet all the conditions and requests a reduction in the amount of the deposit. Under these circumstances, I will not stand by my argument regarding the authority of the court to issue a restraining order from Areas A.”

The suspect is facing charges for the alleged crimes of entering Area A as well as supporting and identifying with a terrorist organization.

The three Neturei Karta members met with senior Islamic Jihad officials and visited the home of Bassam al-Saadi, a senior Islamic Jihad terrorist currently detained in Israel, whose arrest led to the three-day Operation Breaking Dawn in August.

  1. BARUCH MATTIR ASSURIM!!

And in case you’re not sure, I am thanking Hashem, not the heretical Zionist medinas hashmad which should have never existed in the first place!

  2. Hopefully, the new government, which claims to be laser focused on terrorist organizations, will quickly designate these animals as terrorists and treat them the same way as other Palestinian and Hamas groups they are targeting. The fact that they claim to be yidden makes them even more dangerous.

  3. the Neturei Karta are a bunch of רשעים and must be harshly denounced for their open alliance with שונאי ישראל, and must be immediately placed into חרם until serious תשובה is done.

  4. Its always interesting how people get all bent out of shape at a few extreme NK people who take a walk with some Arabs and harm no one but themselves and are probably not doing anything halachicly wrong, yet when Itamar Ben-Gvir goes on the Har Habayis, which is a question of kareis r”l and incites the whole Arab world against Jews…not a peep

  5. Crazy Shtup
Why are all the Neturei Kartah goons living there?
They should move to Lebanon or Jordan with thier good chaveirim.
Or better yet to the Siberian Gulags

  6. This a case for psychiatrists and not the police.
They should not be sent to prison.
They should be incarcerated in a proper mental institution until cured.
    Pity them!

  7. @Melgi, what do you mean “not a peep”? Condemnations of his actions, including by many prominent rabbanim, were all over the news.

  8. american yeshivish – they are living in Eretz Yisroel because their ancestors have been there for almost 200 years, well before Nefesh B’Nefesh was even a hava aminah. If there is anyone who should be leaving the Holy Land, it is the Zionist reshaim with their filth, according to the Torah HaKedosha:

ולא תקיא הארץ אתכם בטמאכם (ויקרא יח: כח)

  9. mlbrklyn – shkoyach! אשריך שזכית!
Baby Squirrel – it is YOU who must do teshuvah for disparaging the holy askonim of Neturei Karta!
    כל הפוסל במומו פוסל

  10. The only restrictive condition they should have received, is to be ordered to travel on a 1-way ticket to Jenin or Iran (which one of these 2, to be left up to their choosing)

  11. 147,
