The Vizhnitzer Rebbe visited the home of Rosh Yeshivah HaGaon HaRav Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood of Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.
HaRav Ezrachi recently got up from sitting shivah for his Rebbetzin, a’h, and since the Rebbe was unable to travel to Jerusalem during the shivah, he made a delayed tanchumim visit.
The Rebbe spoke with the Rosh Yeshivah for an extended period of time, during which HaRav Ezrachi praised the Rebbe for his involvement in the draft law. HaRav Ezrachi also told the Rebbe that he’s been davening for his granddaughters, who have been hospitalized in serious condition since being involved in a car accident on Sukkos, and on the Rebbe’s request of his chassidim to learn hilchos Shabbos.
The Rebbe’s granddaughters and two-year-old great-grandson were injured in a serious car accident between a bus and a car on Route 38 near Beit Shemesh on Chol Hamoed Sukkos.
Their names for tefillah are: עטיל בת בלומא גיטל and שפרה בת ציפורה ברכה.
The Rebbe also asked HaRav Ezrachi about Yeshivas Ateres Yisrael and how it moved to its current location in Modiin Illit.
