A trilateral meeting hosted by the United States is on this week’s agenda in Washington, with the participation of Israeli and PA (Palestinian Authority) representatives.

The meeting will be hosted by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni will attend as well as senior PA negotiator Ahmed Quriea (Abu Ala).

The three will evaluate the current situation following recent statements by Rice that she believes an agreement between Israel and the PA can indeed be reached before the end of 2008.
