Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai has arranged to order 80 new mini shelters, each capable of providing shelter for 8 individuals. The new shelters were ordered after receiving Vilnai’s approval, explaining they are primarily intended for farmers, providing a solution for farmers working in the fields.
While most welcome the move, it is distressing since it signals the rocket attacks from Hamas-controlled Gaza are expected to continue for some time, compelling the government to continue investing in shelters for southern area residents.
