The Otzma Yehudit party announced on Sunday night that it has ended negotiations with the Likud.
Senior officials from Otzma Yehudit said: “The Likud backtracked on an earlier agreement and now refuses to grant Otzma Yehudit an additional ministry – the Ministry for the Development of the Periphery, Negev and Galil.”
“Strengthening the Negev, Galil and the periphery is our election promise and we were elected in order to fulfill our promises – not to obtain jobs but to take care of the residents of Be’er Sheva, Netivot, Ashkelon, and Sderot as well as the periphery in the Galil – this is in our souls.”
