IN BROAD DAYLIGHT: Terrorist Shechting Cow For His Wedding Is Eliminated

Illustrative. (Israel Police)

Undercover Border Police officers, aided by IDF and Shin Bet forces, entered Jenin in broad daylight on Thursday and killed a high-ranking Islamic Jihad terrorist.

A decision was made to arrest him after intelligence reports were received showing he was planning to carry out a terrorist attack.

The terrorist, Farouk Salama, 28, has just arrived at his local butcher shop to slaughter a cow for his wedding, which was scheduled to take place this weekend.

The Israeli security forces yelled at Salama to surrender but he refused and opened fire instead. He was killed in the ensuing gun battle. Another Arab was killed as well and at least four other Arabs were injured.

Salama  had opened fire at Israeli troops several times and was involved in the death of Sgt. Maj. Noam Raz, a veteran of Israel Police’s elite Yamam unit who left behind a wife and six children.

Overnight Wednesday, Israeli security forces carried out counterterrorism operations throughout Yehudah and Shomron and arrested 14 wanted terror suspects.

  1. Gleefully looking forward to Ben-Gevir carying our Moreinu HoRav Meir Kahana’s agenda, and expelling every single arab from all of Israel, no questions asked.
    Cannot happen soon enough.

  2. Yes, Arabs shecht. And contrary to our resident troll 147, R Kahane HYD did not want to expel every single Arab from Eretz Yisrael; he was always clear that any law-abiding Arab who wishes to remain in Israel as a foreign resident, with the same rights that an Israeli green-card holder has in the USA, should be welcome to do so.

  3. I respect the fact that this chassan intended to shecht his own cow to feed his own wedding guests. That seems like the right way to do things, probably healthier than the tortured castrated steer pumped full of hormones and antibiotics and GMO pesticide-laden grain feed that die in an agitated state full of cortisol that most call glatt kosher mehadrin meat. I don’t believe this guy necessarily was a “terrorist” just because the regime said so, given the culture of dishonesty in the regime. Even so, I don’t doubt his friends now have a motive to be belligerents and to pursue reprisals. Especially those collaterally damaged probably now are more traumatized and have more reason to oppose the regime. Last night I was deliberating whether to return to Yisroel and lacked clarity. This article gives me clarity: I am glad I don’t live in Eretz Yisroel, given the criminal conduct of the occupation regime. If I ever were at risk of being targeted in a terrorist incident in Yisroel, some misguided policy of the regime caused it, kicking a hornets’ nest right next to me. I am annoyed by those who think they’re real tough Kahanists and post shtark comments safely in Amerika. My life was endangered several times during the decade I lived in Yisroel. From my perspective, the regime caused every incident, even if some Arab may have been the proximate cause. The regime creates security threats deliberately to benefit from them, as the fools rally round their polyester flag, a regime they might not support otherwise. So, no political actor of the regime will expel the Arabs. Anyway, B”H I’m not in harm’s way.

  4. Probably not good public relations to arrest someone who is in the process of getting married. Given that there are no prospects of Israel waking up one day and discovering it is an island with no neighbors to worry about, doing something unnecessary that alienates the Muslim neighbors is bad policy (in the long run it is not in the zionists’ interests to be at war with the Muslims which all Israeli governments regardless of party have emphasized seeking peace rather than a policy of genociding the Palestinians and fighting it with the Muslim world). Since the Israelis knew exactly where the terrorist was, and what he was doing, they should have waited until after the wedding and then captured him at a less public place (and avoiding killing one Arab bystander, and getting one Jew killed).
