Labor chairwoman and Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli said on Sunday that she didn’t invest in transportation in Yehuda and Shomron because it won’t be part of Israel in the future.

Speaking on Channel 12 News, Michaeli responded to a question about why she froze transportation projects in Yehudah and Shomron.

Michaeli replies that she hasn’t frozen any projects in Yehudah and Shomron but she hasn’t initiated any new ones. “It’s a shame to invest in an area that ultimately won’t be part of Israel,” she said.

Yesha Council head Shlomo Ne’eman slammed Michaeli for her “extreme and dangerous agenda” of promoting transportation on Shabbos and boycotting it for residents of Yehudah and Shomron.

  1. And hopefully this filthy TREASONOUS self hating Arab loving sewer rat, won’t be part of the breathing and living in the near future

  2. That’s okay.

As our gedolim said decades ago, the Zionist State, as a whole, is long overdue for entry into the dust-bin of history.

  3. HaKatan: Maybe so, but these same Gedolim sure appreciated the protections the Israeli government gave them when they visited Eretz Yisroel. Don’t be a hypocrite- if you don’t like the State of Israel, don’t go there. Stay in Chutz L’Aretz and end up in an Auschwitz gas chamber like my great uncle, a staunch anti-Zionist, did in 1944.

  4. Labor has resigned itself to being a minor party, not the major party that it once was. The difference is that a major party needs to appeal for a broad base, and a minor party needs to appeal only to a narrow base.

Realistically, if the left were strong enough to stay in power, they would find it desirable to get rid of the West Bank, and especially the Jewish communities therein, since: 1) most of the residents are their political opponents; 2) the Israel left wants to find favor with the USA and the EU.

  5. daven for the downfall of the Left in Israel.

a bunch of goyish, secular, socialist, anti-torah, treif-eating, מחללי שבת…
