Former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s grandson, Shmuel Roth, celebrated his bar mitzvah on Tuesday afternoon in Mea Shearim by making a Siyum HaShas in the presence of his father, his Rebbe, and classmates.
The young Shmuel, the son of Reb Daniel Roth and his wife Noa, Netanyahu’s daughter from a previous marriage, learns in Talmud Torah Darchei Shmuel. Shmuel’s Rebbe said at the Bar Mitzvah that in his ten years of teaching children, he’s never come across a child with such talent and genius as Shmuel.
The Rebbe said that Shmuel is an incredible masmid and learns even during recess and on vacation days. After school ends for the day, he continues his learning at the Beis Medrash Yeshuos Yaakov in Mea Shearim. He began learning Shas when he was ten and continued learning without a break in order to complete Shas by his Bar Mitzvah.
Noa, who became frum as a young adult, gave birth to Netanyahu’s fifth grandson in July.

I am in awe of young giants of Torah like Reb Shmuel Roth. They will bring the Ge’ula.
Keep in mind that the Roth’s are affiliated with Breslov, which believes in reading through Shas even without understanding it.
It’s sad that the Saba/zeidie wasn’t there to see how powerful Jewish education is.
Does this boy’s mother have much to do with her father? It’s a real pity if she can’t have any influence on Netanyahu’s policies. Surely he can see the value of authentic chinuch?

Netanyahu is not there is, because the family do not want anything to do with him. in fact when b.n. announced he wouldn’t be attending a bris, siyum etc due to not being able to get security clearance, he actually meant to say that he was told he was unwanted and should not come otherwise he’ll get the kabalas panim he truly deserves.
