State Prosecutor Moshe Lador and Attorney General Menachem Mazuz on Sunday announced there will be no criminal case launched against National Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer.
In response to a number of complaints against Ben-Eliezer pertaining to his tenure as housing minister, the prosecutor investigated alleged illegal practices in the appointment of a number of friends/relatives of the minister to the Israel Electric Company.
Lador stated that there is no evidence of any law-breaking by Ben-Eliezer and as such, the matter is being closed.
