Three members of the Tufan family were killed R”L in the Gilo Yerushalayim gas explosion earlier this week. Ms. Linda Schwartz, 40, remains in an intensive care unit in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital fighting for her life after sustaining serious injuries in that blast. Her elderly parents remain in a Maale Adumim senior citizens complex, having suffered burns in the blast. They were hospitalized and since released. Linda is their only child.

Prof. Avi Rivkind of Hadassah Hospital is quoted telling Yediot Achronot “I regret there is no improvement in the victim’s condition”, referring to Linda. He confirms her condition remains life-threatening.
