*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron apprehended four suspects on Saturday night. They suspects were transferred to the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) for interrogation.

*An Arab male was taken into custody near el-Hader, in the Gush Etzion district, on suspicion of involvement in firebomb attacks.

*16:20: Two mortar shells fired from Hamas-controlled Gaza landed on the PA side of the border near Kibbutz Nachal Oz.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Transportation Ministry licensing offices remained closed on Sunday as the strike continues.

*A 67-year-old man was reported in moderate condition in Ziff Hospital in Tzfas on Sunday morning after becoming the latest victim of snakebite. The victim was bitten by a Palestinian viper in Rabot Naftali.

*Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz has ordered the construction of a new air traffic control tower at Ben-Gurion International Airport.

*Israel expressed opposition to the inclusion of the Arab League in the Mediterranean Conference in Paris.

*Hamas leader Khaled Meshal arrived in Yemen for talks with Fatah representatives in an effort to mend fences between the terror factions.

*15 IDF soldiers in the Chatzor Base near Rechovot were transported to Kaplan Hospital on Sunday for treatment of inhalation of an unspecified chemical substance.

*A blind female Haifa University student is hospitalized in Rambam Medical Center together with her seeing-eye dog since she has no family in Israel and there is no one to care for the dog. Hospital officials are calling on anyone capable of caring for the special animal to step forward and do so until she is discharged. Interested parties may phone 050-206-2600.

*While Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni addressed foreign ministers at the Mediterranean Conference on Sunday, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem left the hall.

*Israel Manufacturers Association officials report 500 workers were dismissed from factories nationwide in March and April due to the continued decline of the US dollar.

*Israel Prison Authority officials report Regev-Goldwasser prisoner exchange deal will take place on Wednesday.

*Hizbullah turned over a number of unseen photos of Ron Arad in the report submitted to Israel. The yet unseen photos were turned over to Tami Arad, Ron’s wife.
