A 53-year-old Bat Yam woman was detained by authorities after she phoned Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) and stated she is a member of al-Qaeda. She told Galei Tzahal she was planning an attack against Tel Aviv’s Azrieli Towers.

Station officials identified her phone number from the caller ID feature and immediately phoned police. She was promptly placed under arrest and questioned. Police learned that this is not the first time she phoned the 100 emergency number a false report.
