SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*A border policeman was lightly injured in an anti partition security fence protest at Na’alin.

*Security forces foiled an attempted attack using riot-control adjuncts against an Arab who tried ramming the PA side of the security fence in the Qalandia area with a bulldozer. The suspect fled the scene.

*Cleared for release: Two Rahat residents were arrested by border police and ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) agents, suspected of terrorist activities and alignment with the Islamic Jihad and al-Qaeda. They were monitoring and documenting security and activities in southern military bases, Azriele towers, and Ben-Gurion Airport.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*The dollar dropped against the shekel again on Wednesday, trading at 3.2287.

*A group of tens of radical left-wingers arrived in Chevron on Wednesday on yet another provocative visit. Police arrested three group members. Many members of the visitors were from South Africa.
