Monday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael

Two wounded Syrian nationals listed in moderate condition have been admitted to Ziff Hospital in Tzfas. The hospital to date has treated 209 Syrians. There are currently 17 Syrian nationals admitted to the hospital.

09:39:

The Beersheva Magistrate Court remanded the person who threw tea on MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi for an additional 3 weeks, until January 19th. At that time the court will review recommendations regarding possibly releasing him on bail.

10:38:

An elderly pedestrian was struck by a truck and moderately injured while crossing a street on Yifei Nof Street in Jerusalem. The victim sustained significant injuries to his legs.

11:11:

Swastikas were painted on a building wall in the Rova Hey area of Beersheva on Sunday along with graffiti “death to Jews”. Police are investigating.
