The new Yisrael Chazakah Party launched by former Labor MK and cabinet minister, Dr. Ephraim Sneh, is up and running and it seems at first glance that the veteran parliamentarian is attracting a following.
Sneh recently broke away from Labor, unwilling to remain in the party and coalition which he feels is unfit to lead. Sneh had harsh words for party leader Ehud Barak, prompting him to resign from Knesset, stating that his seat was earned under the Labor banner and he is giving it back.
Sneh is confident that his new party will earn enough votes to find a place in the next Knesset.
