In this video, they can be seen in just such a moment, listening to and saying amen to each other as they recite birchos hashachar.

Incidentally I found it curious how they both said the brochos at a fairly rapid pace, not at a very slow dragged out verbalization of each and every syllable like some very frum people feel it needs to be accentuated.
Those who live in chul: Note that the Rebbetzin made the bracha “shelo usani shifcha” and not “eved”. I couldn’t hear, but I imagine that the Rebbetzin also said, “shelo asani goya” instead of “goy”. It’s not in the video but I’m guessing the Rebbetzin said moduh ani and not modeh ani. These were proper changes I learned in Eretz Yisrael, although chutzniks are always shocked (scandalized?) when I tell them.
Long island Yid: If one davened properly, according to Mishneh Brurah, he wouldn’t finish kriyas sh’ma before the tzibor was saying alainu in most factory minyonim. Why Maran z”l said brochos so quickly in unknown to me, but I wouldn’t be so disdainful of “frum people” verbalizing each and every syllable.
Has nothing to do with EY vs Chul. It’s an old Edus Hamizrach Nisuch as well as it’s discussed in Ashkenaz Poskim. (See Eshel Avraham 41:64). And BTW she does not say Goya. Clearly.

Using time to Daven vs Using time to learn Torah.
Might even be that the Halacha is that one who is Learning Torah is Patur from Teffilah.
Just to point out that Rav Chaim saying Brachos faster doesn’t automatically make it wrong to say it slower. There may be a simple explanation: Rav Chaim was able to have the proper Kavanos much faster and more fluently than an average person can, and certainly had what to do with any ‘extra’ time!

Your Chakira is a Machlokes in the Gemara Shabbes 10a:
One holds: Rather shorten your Tefilah (which is only Chayei Sho’oh – see Rashi there) vs Torah learning which is Chayei Olam.
The other holds: Tefilah has its time and Torah has its time and there is no need to shorten the Tefila in order to learn more.
R’ Chaim seemingly took on like the first opinion. (I once davened Mincha in Lederman where R’ Chaim davened and noticed that he finished the Shmone Esrei very very quick.)
She’s also using a nusach of “ותנני” and not “ותננו” which I just found out that there are two nusachos recently, singular and plural. I think she’s using the singular.
