The army is preparing for the implementation of the Regev-Goldwasser prisoner exchange deal with Hizbullah by calling up members of the Chief Rabbinate to reserve duty as they prepare to exhume bodies of terrorists from the cemetery in the Galil region intended for terrorists and enemies of the state.
The Chief Rabbinate reservists along with other reservists from the army’s Northern Command will dig up the bodies from the special cemetery in Kibbutz Amiad as Israel prepares for the exchange of terrorists and bodies for soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev. Among the dead bodies being released by Israel are eight Hizbullah terrorists from the Second Lebanon War.
Unconfirmed reports indicate the deal will not take place this week.

though halacha requires proper respect for non jewish bodies, the rabbanut is not involved in this (except for, perhaps, some form of supervision — including videotaping tp prevent false accusations).
zahal, undoubtedly, will use arabs for this. though i have nothing against their having been buried in pig skin (a technique used by british general orde wingate to prevent muslim terrorism in india, while general wingate was british colonial governor there, in between his two stints in “palestine” (as it was called at the time.) one cannot have his 70 virgins (or whatever) if buried in pig skin! accrording to muslim belief)
