*Knesset Law Committee to discuss recommendation from Justice Minister Daniel Friedman to raise the ceiling in small claims court from NIS 17,800 to NIS 30,000.

*A 6-month-old born premature at the weight of 1kg became Israel’s youngest liver transplant recipient over the weekend.

*Delays are to be expected beginning on Sunday afternoon through Wednesday on most lines of Israel Railways due to maintenance work.

*An Arab woman was taken into custody for questioning after she tried entering Jerusalem City Hall with a toy gun. The woman, described as a former city worker, claimed the toy gun was one of her child’s toys, nothing more.

*Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai is reported in good condition following surgery to remove a benign growth from his right lung. The deputy minister will be recuperating in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital during the coming days. The growth is reportedly the result of a gunshot wound sustained by the minister during his military career.

*A PA resident came to the Reichan Checkpoint in the Jenin district, wounded in the jaw from gunfire in rival clan feud. Military medical personnel treated him at the checkpoint and he was then flown in a helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
