The Almagor terror victims’ organization is planning to petition the Supreme Court against the release of Samir Kuntar as part of the Regev-Goldwasser prisoner release agreement between Israel and Hizbullah.

The petition will be filed on behalf of family members of policeman Eliyahu Shachar, one of the people murdered by Kuntar. The family members are calling upon the government to back out of the agreement with the terror organization in addition to calling upon President Shimon Peres not to pardon the terrorist who is serving multiple life sentences.
