As they do every month, a group of Women of the Wall members arrived at the Kosel on Monday morning for Shacharis of Rosh Chodesh Shevat and disturbed the tefillos of thousands of mispallelim.
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation slammed the group, stating that “the group decided to leave the designated area set aside for them, thereby violating their commitment to the President of the state and disturbing the public order at the Kosel plaza.”
The Foundation also slammed the “entry of men from the Women of the Wall group into the Ezras Nashim, something that harms the kedusha of the Kosel and is unprecedented.”
Oren Henig, the director of Mercaz Liba, excoriated the behavior of the group, stating: “Men, led by Yizhar Hess, who serves as the deputy director of the Histadrut HaTzionit, joined the ‘provocative women’…and brazenly entered the Ezras Nashim, in complete violation of the law and regulations.”

After the past week, the Frum community have what to work on internally before worrying about what others are doing.
I think men should be allowed wherever they want. Why should men have to stay away from women children or anyone?

According to that line of reasoning, one can also say that the Frum community has a license to do whatever they may be thought to have done wrong over the past week, and use the Women of the Wall excuse.
Though I obviously have an agenda here, I didn’t need to be biased to make this point, as it’s basic logic once I reverse your logic here.
The way the Frum World reacted to the past week does not make this any less of a disgrace. And mind you that these are the people who claim to be trying to uproot abuse in the Frum world, and what better way to build trust with the Chareidim!

The lack of מחיצה in shuls and certainly by the כתל המערבי is an old שאילה. Everyone knows that in the big shul in Vilna the women were invited downstairs for a shmuess on frumkeit. So of course it was unprecedented but was done לתועלת. Is there any prominent Rav here or in ארץ ישראל who can be מלמד זכות on them ?

If it weren’t controversial and provocative, those liberated bnos niddah would have no desire to go “daven” there. They go there hoping to get into tussles with upset religious men and the occupant custodians. They have sublimated their perversions into engagement in an activity that they have idealized as their own kind of martyrdom. Really, as long as the occupant custodians allow for this perverted disgrace disruption of a shul, it probably makes sense not to engage in any way with those perverted women. That’s what they want. They don’t deserve interactions with men. Cherem is better treatment.

There need to be a way to work this out so that all different denominations can have equal access to the Kosel. Fighting like this doesn’t help anybody.

as to the topic at hand, the conservative/reform don’t really believe in god, have no use for prayer and think the beis hamikdash was a barbaric cult center where a primitive religion performed the horrors of animal sacrifice – a tradition that they vow they will never allow to happen again. so they don’t come to pray, they come to protest and protests are not allowed at the kosel. thats the simple rule. you cant protest against or for anything at the kosel. i just wish the government treated these protesters the way they treat the protesters against the jerusalem light rail or the ancient graves.
Just reminder, it is on those who claim to be the carriers of tradition and representatives of Torah to make a kiddush hashem. When these things happen, it’s time to look inside and think what has the frum world done to alienate Jews to this extent. This is the flip side of erasing women, of erasing their names from their work (books that only have initial for authors and illustrators), of having children’s books that depict world without any females at all. This is what you get when you turn women into a prop for a man’s avodas Hashem. Istead of celebrating their role in the home and motherhood, you send them to drop of their newborns at the babysitter in some basement so that their husband’s can learn in marble halls. This is the direct result.
