Beginning on Sunday, local government employees are expected to launch a strike, explaining they have still not received money promised to them in the second settlement agreement signed with the national government.

As a result of the strike, garbage collection will halt, municipalities will not have hours to the public, phone will not be answered and arnona tax payments will not be accepted. Firefighters will operate on a Shabbos schedule.
