Israel’s Health Ministry reported on Wednesday that cases of the flu are increasing throughout the country.
There are currently 1,894 people hospitalized with the flu, including 124 pregnant women and new mothers, and 605 children.
The ministry stated that most patients are infected with the influenza-A virus, a strain included in this year’s flu shot, and urged the public to be vaccinated.
