United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen on Sunday was given a tour of northern areas as well as Gaza.

He was escorted by Deputy IDF Chief of Staff Dan Harel since IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi was attending the cabinet meeting to decide on the Regev-Goldwasser prisoner exchange deal.

Admiral Mullen was given a comprehensive picture of security realities along the northern and southern borders, as well as issues pertaining to the growing Iranian nuclear threat. (Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)
