A group of Jews visited Har Habayis on Sunday morning 28 Kislev 5774 and some of the group began singing Chanukah songs. This led to protest among Muslims, escalating to a confrontation between the sides.

Police arrested four people, two Jews and two Muslims and announced Har Habayis is closed to visitors, which means Har Habayis remains open to Muslims exclusively.
