At about 12:30AM, a chareidi woman said to be 55 was struck by a truck and killed at the entrance to Betar Illit a short time after her daughter dropped her off. The victim reportedly was a member of the Chabad community.
According to police, the woman was crossing in the middle of the street when a truck struck her, throwing her some 15 meters (yards). She was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are investigating.

that truck seems it was traveling very fast at a crossing to throw that woman 15 yards(45)feet.

I was coming back from Bnai Brak last night and saw the commotion. But this happened just outside the entrance to the city–what what she doing in the street? There are palastinians on the other side.
