Toldos Aaron Rebbe Supports the Eida Ravaad

tarThe Toldos Aaron Rebbe Shlita has come out publicly in support of Eida Ravaad Eida Chareidis HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita. At the heart of the split in the community is a Ramat Beit Shemesh construction project. Rav Sternbuch has ruled the bones at the site are not Jewish and construction may continue providing restrictions are adhered to. Asra Kadisha on the other hand disagrees and it has been stepping up its opposition against the project and rabbonim who have given their green light for continued construction.

The rebbe’s announcement follows a recent verbal assault against the gavaad as he was leaving a bris.

The rebbe added his name to gedolim shlita in London, who are coming out publicly to back the Eida gavaad.

The rebbe found himself in an uncomfortable position as protests were held against him during a recent visit to the United States. One of the actions taken back in Yerushalayim is a call to avreichim to cancel their subscriptions to the weekly “The Eida” in a response to an article against the rebbe.

  1. This whole issue shows a lack of rabbinical leadership and really shows the chaos in the charedi community, yes this is an important issue, but there are much more important issues for rabbonim to be concerned about, enough with this issue and lets move onto the big important issues

  2. EDITOR:

“The rebbe’s announcement follows a recent verbal assault against the gavaad as he was leaving a bris.”

“The rebbe added his name to gedolim shlita in London, who are coming out publicly to back the Eida gavaad.”

    Both should say “Ravaad”
