Katz Family Turns to State Comptroller

Family members of missing IDF soldier Yehuda Katz have turned to State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss to investigate the state’s handling of the case, which also involved Zechariah Baumel and Tzvi Feldman.

The request came on the 26th anniversary of Sultan Yakoub, 20 Sivan, asking the state officials to investigate the actions of various governments and provide an explanation as to why after over 2.5 decades no one knows with certainty what happened to the hesder yeshiva tank corps soldiers.

The IDF a number of years ago declared the three “soldiers who died in service but their burial location remains unknown” but the declaration was eventually reversed and the three officially remains MIAs today.
