Karnit Goldwasser, the wife of Ehud Goldwasser, told reporters on Monday night that she has been promised the cabinet on Sunday will vote on the proposed prisoner exchange deal with Hizbullah.
In another related event, she is adamantly opposed to the decision to instruct IDF Chief Rabbi Brigadier-General Avichai Ronsky to determine if there is sufficient date to declare the soldiers dead.
Karnit fears such a move will sabotage the deal and perhaps, Ehud and Eldad Regev will be lost forever. As such she is leaning towards taking her case to the Supreme Court.
On Tuesday, the nation’s highest court rejected a petition filed on behalf of Gilad Shalit, unwilling to become involved in government and the security/diplomatic process.
