Seven of the teudat zehut forgery suspects linked to the municipal elections in Beit Shemesh were held over last week. However, despite police objections additional suspects have since been released, to house arrest with restrictions.
Six of the seven defendants have been released after bail was posted in varying amounts, none paying more than 7,500 NIS. One suspect, Avraham B. remains in custody.

I guess that after all the media fanfare and screaming this means that there really isn’t much of a case against these people. A paltry sum for bail of less than $2000 at most is a clear expression of how serious the judge thinks this is.
