YWN regrets to inform you of the petira of HaRav Moshe Elyakim Briah Kahana ZATZAL, the Spinka-Kahana Rebbe in Bnei Brak. He was 93.
The Rebbe been hospitalized the past two weeks at Tel Hashomer Hospital and was Niftar on Monday.
The Levaya will be held on Monday at his Bais Medrash located at 9 Rechov Yehoshua in Bnei Brak. The Kevura will be on Har Hazeisim.

Is the Rebbe an einekel of the Spinka Rebbe in Selish (Hungary/Czechoslovakia/Ukraine)?
The Kahana Branch of Spinka Rebbes are descendants of a son in law of the 1st Spinka Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Meir Weiss known as The Imrei Yosef.
I’m Not sure if he ever lived in Selish- His son, the 2nd Spinka Rebbe ,Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Weiss – The Chakal Yitzchak, lived in Selish, He Died Al Kidush Hashem in Auschwitz
