Right-wing parties are working to form a united bloc ahead of Knesset elections in the hope of emerging with increased parliamentary representation.
Leading the initiative is MK (National Union/NRP) Uri Ariel, who has announced preliminary contact has been made and talks are scheduled to unify the National Union. Achi, the National Religious Party and Moledet.
The right is quite splintered due to numerous divisions during past years. Ariel’s National Union is composed of the Moledet Party, as well as Achi and Ariel’s Tekumah faction. Realizing the need of the hour, it appears the political Greater Land of Israel supporters are willing to put differences aside in the hope of creating a bloc that will yield greater political representation in the next Knesset.
Ariel stressed the need for a platform that calls for a Greater Land of Israel in accordance to the Torah of Israel.
