Yisrael Beitenu chairman Avigdor Lieberman said in an interview with Channel 12 News on Thursday night that after the election he’ll “take Netanyahu and the Chareidim in a wheelbarrow to the nearest garbage dump.”
His words aroused a media storm, with dozens of politicians condemning his comments. But on Sunday morning, when asked about the criticism against him in an interview with Army Radio, Leiberman said he has no regrets and piled on some more inciteful comments.
“They act like pigs,” he said. “They’ve turned into a cult.”
“[Lieberman’s] despair in his battle against Netanyahu brings him to these statements,” UTJ chairman Moshe Gafni responded. “We, the Chareidim, have already long been relating to him as someone who lost his mind, who apparently is very familiar with the dump. I expect the law enforcement agencies to address this anti-Semitic statement.”
“These statements have long crossed all the red lines of politics,” said UTJ Deputy Minister Uri Maklev. “The content and manner of his speech prove once again that this is not a debate but hatred and incitement – these statements are of a criminal nature.”
Housing Minister Yaakov Litzman called on Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to open an investigation into Lieberman’s inciteful words.

People may feel like writing “go back to Russia” but remember that this is babyish too, as many great and wonderful people come from Russia. Think the Chofetz Chaim, Rav Moshe Feinstein and many other great Gedolim, both Litvish and Chasidish. Never mind even regular Jews who are good people. It isn’t only hatred of Chareidim, it’s also very lowlife politics- pick a scapegoat and vilify them with false claims and worse. He’s even worse than the worst perception of Trump in my opinion (meaning that even those who have a very low opinion of Trump wouldn’t see in him the same viciousness that we see in Avigdor Lieberman).

Lieberman’s comment is dark and horrid, he should be fined, jailed and charged for this hatred___no one should be so evil and believe there is a political spot for this behavior___Russia wouldn’t want him either___this one is a treif

Yaapchik: if the Chareidim would sit passively and not utter a word when outdoors, Leiberman would still be barking his antisemitic drivel. And when dati-leumi folk demonstrated violently a short while back in front of the main police headquarters, he didn’t call for the final solution for them.
He may be a tinok shenishba, but he’s also a virulent meisis u’meidiach against Hashem and His Torah. He deserves no mercy for his brazen impudence toward the Ribbono Shel Olam.
