Eight females, members of the Bedouin community in southern Israel, were treated in Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva on motzei Shabbos after sustaining injuries in a rock-throwing attack.
The females were traveling in a bus that was injured by rocks thrown on late Shabbos afternoon Parshas Chayei Sara 5774 near el-Fawar. A number of the girls were injured lightly by glass shards and the remainder was treated for hysteria.
The students spent Saturday in the S. Hebron Hills area and they were traveling in a three-bus convoy when targeted by rocks, apparently mistaken for Jewish passenger buses.
