11:15AM – IL: Mortar rockets landed in Kibbutz Nir Oz a short time ago resulting in light shrapnel injuries to one person with others being treated for hysteria.

The rockets resulted in a blaze in a hazardous materials storage facility, prompting a response from Beersheva firefighters and HazMat teams who are working to bring the blaze under control and avoid a hazardous materials incident.

In related events, IDF soldiers operating in Central Gaza opened fire at a terrorist, hitting him. Unconfirmed reports indicate he was killed.

PA sources report that an IDF tank shell fired east of Khan Yunis struck a 9-year-old girl in the village of Qarara. IDF officials confirm ground forces are operating in Central Gaza, adding they were unaware of civilian casualties.
