Disabled IDF Vets to Protest After Shavuos


The organization representing disabled IDF veterans plans to launch protests after Shavuos, claiming the Defense Ministry is not honoring signed agreements and is not giving disabled veterans their just due.

Activists in the organization explain that despite continued increases in the price of gas, their monthly allowances have not been adjusted, explaining that for many, their vehicles are their lifeline, providing them with a primary means of transportation due to disabilities. In addition, they lament the government’s blasé attitude in dealing with victims of post traumatic stress syndrome.

The protestors threaten they will block major roadways and take other action towards advancing their just battle.
